This should come as no surprise, but I LOVE seating charts! As an NJ wedding calligrapher, seating charts are by far my most popular request, and it’s easy to see why – they are definitely WOW pieces.  Instead of escort cards, where each guest or couple is listed on a single card, seating charts list all of your guests names together on a larger display.  These beauties are the perfect way to welcome guests to your wedding or event and help set the tone of your big day.

Like all other wedding day signage, seating charts are 100% customizable to fit YOUR day.  I love infusing my clients’ personalities into their seating charts or creating something one-of-a-kind to match the vibe of a unique venue. After all, your wedding day is all about you, so make sure your details are too! 

So why a seating chart versus the more traditional escort cards? For one, seating charts make a statement! They are typically the first thing that your guests will see as they make their way into the reception, so why not wow them with a beautiful seating chart?  You only get one chance to make a first impression, so make it a good one. Seating charts, especially those done on a single surface like mirrors, are also highly versatile, meaning they can function just as perfectly inside as they can outside under a tent!  If you’re having an outdoor wedding, you don’t want to be worrying about the wind blowing your escort card display!  They also make organization a breeze – you have all your guests on a single display instead of managing individual escort cards (your wedding planner will thank you, too!).
